Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

Longboard wines by Bellbrae Estate are fruit driven, regional styles of classic wine varietals and are ready to drink now. The 2022 vintage is fresh and well balanced, with lemon lime zest and earthy green capsicum on the nose, and a hint of elderflower that carries onto the palate. The palate starts crisp yet softens out with hints of stone fruit and crisp apple. Its underlying freshness has been preserved through a cool fermentation in stainless steel. An easy going drink, this wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Production Notes

Hand picked and directly pressed to tank. The clear cool juice fermented over two weeks producing a highly aromatic and pure style. Bottled after six months on light lees to produce a wine full of fruit, balance, and persistence.
