2024 Longboard Chardonnay

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

This chardonnay has lifted white peach and lime aromas, leading to flavours of assorted stone fruit with a hint of cashew. Light and graceful fruit is enhanced by French oak barrels, old and new, giving a touch of complexity. Fresh flavours carry through on the finish giving elegance and length.

Production Notes

Hand picked in the cool of a March morning and straight into the press. This Chardonnay began fermentation in tank before being transferred to new (10%) and used French hogsheads. Bottled in December 2024. This wine will drink well from its release and will also reward careful cellaring until 2028.
