Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

Each Bellbrae Estate wine is named after a famous surf break in the Bells Beach area along our iconic Surf Coast region. With lifted citrus fruit drive, this wine has elegance and power all in one sip. Matured in new and one year old French oak for 6 months and with regular stirrings throughout, our premium Chardonnay has the structure to allow it to be drunk for many years to come.

Production Notes

Hand picked in the cool of a March morning and straight into the press. This Chardonnay began fermentation in tank before being transferred to new (30%) and used French hogsheads. Bottled in February 2023. This wine will drink well from its release and will also reward careful cellaring until 2033.
