Rare Tawny

This rare wine has been blended from a number of soleras dating back to the 1970s using barrels that display Giovanni's original JPB branding.

VINIFICATION

Vinified and matured in our original cellars, this is a classic example of the style and a reflection of 90 years of continuous family winemaking. Blended from a number of soleras dating back to the 1970s, this wine is matured in small oak barrels for over a decade prior to bottling and release.

TASTING COMMENTS

A rare blend of traditional tawny, the bouquet announces the age and quality of this wine. Tremendously sweet with toffee, aged fruit flavours and coffee. Complexity is gained from extended barrel maturation, the rancio characters permeate and linger. Drink now or cellar.
