Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

A classic cool climate Shiraz. Medium-bodied, with lively notes of spiced plums and rich forest fruit, complemented with a peppery, savoury finish. A dash of French oak compliments the soft, bright fruits, and given time this elegant Shiraz will only develop more complexity and sophistication.

Production Notes

Hand picked and de-stemmed to open fermenters with 10% left as whole bunches. After eight days of fermentation, the wine was pressed to new (10%) and used French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation.
